Faculty/Staff Workshop Series
Each semester the Academic Success Center (ASC) offers professional development workshops for faculty and staff in a series called "Nourishment and Knowledge." The ASC provides lunch, and participants gather to discuss topics related to promoting student success across campus. In addition to facilitating the exchange of questions and ideas, the ASC presents information and instructional practices that workshop participants can use with the students they teach, advise, or serve. Topics include: academic advising, disability services, and strategies for helping students with their reading and writing.
